The XXXI Conference of the Association of Mathematics Teachers - Mathematical Manufaktura, held at Lodz University of Technology, has begun. For four days (10-13.02), mathematicians from all over Poland will discuss education and exchange views on the methods of teaching the queen of sciences, as well as share good teaching practices.

Lodz University of Technology and the Medical University of Lodz conduct many collaborative projects and research, which is why the rectors of the two universities resolved last year to formally recognize these shared efforts. The first pilot Workshop for Active Use of Technology (PAKT) in Poland was opened at Lodz University of Technology on Wednesday (14 December). It will be a place to host educational workshops for children, young people and adults, based on problem-based, project-based work and the three leading STEAM pathways: robotics, programming and multimedia.
A computer game during functional magnetic resonance imaging, developed at the Institute of Information Technology at the Faculty of Technical Physics, Information Technology and Applied Mathematics at TUL, won in the "Transformation Partner/Solution Provider" category. This was the 25th edition of the competition organised by the K.I.D.S. Foundation - 'Children's Hospital of the Future'.
