The agreement signed on Tuesday (10.01) between Lodz University of Technology and the Saint-Gobain Group in Poland, pertains to joint activities for the development and education of students, as well as jointly conducted research projects.

The letter of intent was signed at the Rector's Office of Lodz University of Technology by Prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik, Rector of Lodz University of Technology, and Grzegorz Wojciechowski, General Manager for Eastern Europe of Saint-Gobain Surface Solutions, who is a graduate of Lodz University of Technology's Faculty of Chemistry.

Saint-Gobian is a global company with enormous potential, and what has been happening in our cooperation so far, without an official document, I hope will now intensify, said the Rector of TUL, signing the document.

The cooperation includes internships and student placements as part of the company's activities and projects. Plans are being made for joint thesis topics and employment opportunities for engineers from among the university's graduates, in line with Saint-Gobain's needs. The next step will be joint research, implementation or operational projects, which will allow students to put their knowledge into practice and gain valuable experience, which is the key to further professional development.

The meeting at Lodz University of Technology was also attended by: Emilia Krzewińska - HR Director and Ewelina Polaszewska - Junior HR Business Partner Saint-Gobain HPM Polska, as well as Michał Ciesielski - Saint-Gobain Group Brand, Communication and Digitalization Director in Poland.
