POSITION: Public procurement specialist
FORM OF EMPLOYMENT: 1 (full) or ½ (part) time
Responsibilities:
- Conducting public procurement procedures (tenders) for material supplies and services in accordance with Public Procurement Law
- Preparation, maintenance and archiving of documentation regarding tender procedures, and ensuring the proper handling of the work of tender committees.
- Supporting the work of tender committees in the proper application of the law.
- Preparing the specifications, announcements and information required for a given procedure, for awarding a public contract, and submitting them for publication in accordance with the requirements of the Public Procurement Law and internal regulations in force at the Lodz University of Technology.
- Preparation of statements and explanations regarding proceedings and legal protection measures.
- Preparation of documentation and explanations for the purposes of audits regarding the implementation of the Public Procurement Law, carried out by external and internal control authorities.
- Preparation of comments and conclusions for the control protocol and post-control recommendations.
Requirements for the candidate:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in public procurement (especially in the higher education sector or EU structural projects)
- Good knowledge of the Public Procurement Law and the regulations of this act
- Reasonable command of the English language
- Computer skills - knowledge of office software packages (MS Office) and office equipment
- The ability to learn and plan one's own work well
