In accordance with the Announcement of the Vice Rector for Student Affairs dated March 1, 2023, from the summer semester of the academic year 2022/23 the income threshold for students/doctoral students to apply for a maintenance grant is changed. The new threshold is PLN 1294 (it was PLN 1051).

Accordingly:

  1. Individuals who received in the academic year 2022/23 a decision on the benefit can request a recalculation of the amount of the benefit according to the new income threshold for the period from the summer semester.

  2. Persons who did not receive in the academic year 2022/23 a maintenance grant due to exceeding the income threshold (received a refusal decision for this reason), and their per capita income in the family does not exceed the amount of PLN 1294, they can apply to amend the decision and recalculate the application for the period from the summer semester.

  3. Individuals who have so far, in the academic year 2022/23, have not applied for a maintenance grant, and their income per person in the family does not exceed the amount of PLN 1294, may apply for a scholarship from the summer semester.

In order to change the decision and recalculate the amount of the grant, it is necessary to submit an application generated from Webdziekanat, according to the specimen 1a to the Regulations on granting benefits for students of Lodz University of Technology.

Applications can be submitted to the Benefits Service Office, during office hours, starting March 1.

Method of submission:

  1. personal submission of the required documentation to the Benefits Service Office;
  2. sending a letter containing the originals of the above-mentioned documents via the Polish Post, addressed to: Sekcja Obsługi Świadczeń PŁ, ul. Żeromskiego 116, 90-924 Łódź;
  3. sending to the electronic mailbox of Lodz University of Technology on the ePUAP platform: /PolitLodz/SkrytkaESP signed with an electronic signature (signature confirmed with a trusted profile or qualified electronic signature) a file (or each file) containing a scan or photo of the original completed and signed application and scans or photos of all required documents (certificates, statements, etc.).
