The winner of the competition was the team of authors of the publication "Natural fish oil improves the differentiation and maturation of oligodendrocyte precursor cells to oligodendrocytes in vitro after interaction with the blood-brain barrier" consisting of:

- Assoc. Prof. Natalia Lewkowicz, MD, (Medical University of Lodz),
- Magdalena Namiecińska, MD (Medical University of Lodz),
- Paweł Piątek, MD (Medical University of Lodz),
- Assoc. Prof. Radosław Bonikowski, PhD (Lodz University of Technology).
The paper was published in the journal Frontiers in Immunology with a value of 140 points according to the ministerial list of scientific journals and peer-reviewed materials from international conferences. Its five-year Impact Factor value of the journal in which it was published is 8.877.
