The winners of the Rector's Awards of the Lodz University of Technology have been announced. During the jubilee celebrations, on 24 May at the Senate session, the winners of will receive statuettes and diplomas


The winner of the prize for the best cited author in 2021 is Prof. Jan Awrejcewicz, Assoc. Prof. Eng. from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. He will receive a prize of PLN 25,000. In the competition for the award for the author of the best academic paper published in 2020, the winner was Dr Eng. Piotr Szajerski, from the Faculty of Chemistry. He will receive PLN 25,000.

The winner of the competition for the youngest first author of an academic paper in 2020 was Mikołaj Woźniak from the Faculty of Electrical, Electronic, Computer and Control Engineering. The amount of the award is PLN 10 000. The competition for the best publishing doctoral student in 2020 won Eng. Andrzej Gąsiorowski, M.Sc. from the Faculty of Chemistry. He will receive a prize of 10 000 PLN.


The prize for the most valuable implementation in 2020 was awarded to the Institute of Applied Computer Science. The value of the award is PLN 40,000.

Honourable mentions in individual scientific disciplines were also awarded. In the competition for the award for the best cited author in 2021, distinctions in individual disciplines were given to:

In the competition for the award for authors of the best academic papers published in 2020, distinctions were given to:
