During the gala event of the 13th edition of the LEADER Programme, young researchers received grants awarded to them in the competition, in the form of symbolic cheques. A researcher from the Faculty of Process and Environmental Engineering at Lodz University of Technology, Lucyna Bilińska, Ph.D., received a cheque for PLN 1.5 million.

Thanks to funding from the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR), the leader from TUL will be implementing the project 'Industrial system for recycling textile wastewater using the electro-oxy-Fenton method' for three years, which is a continuation of her research in the field of treating wastewater from the textile industry. The National Centre for Research and Development's Leader programme supports young scientists in the creation and management of research teams that carry out innovative projects with implementation potential. In the 13th edition of the programme, 49 projects received funding, with a total amount of over PLN 71 million.
