15 years have passed like one day... Today, on June 10th, the Public Secondary School of Lodz University of Technology is celebrating its jubilee. The official celebrations took place in the Performance Hall of Lodz University of Technology (Al. Politechniki 3a).

During the event, we moved back in time and had the opportunity to learn about the history of the Secondary School. The "Founding Fathers" with emotion recalled the beginnings of the "best school in the galaxy", the Olympians shared their insights on how to achieve success, while the graduates of PLOPŁ talked about their academic trips abroad and their professional achievements. There were also presentations of the achievements, projects and activities of students and teachers.

People who hold certain positions, who work in groups, should act in such a way that they are not the creators of success alone, but that all those who work with them feel that they are co-creators. This gives extraordinary results, mobilises... and this is how one should act in life. - said Prof. Krysinski in a special recording about the beginnings of the school.

The jubilee celebrations were honoured by numerous artistic performances - music and dance. At the end, the students decided to activate the audience by taking part in a quiz on interesting facts about the teachers and also presented charming stories about school love that have survived until today.

PLOPŁ was established in 2007 and has already educated over 1000 graduates. It ranks among the top three schools in the Lodz region in the Perspektywa ranking, as well as among the top secondary schools in Poland. The main initiators and builders of the Public Secondary School of Lodz University of Technology were: the then Rector of TUL, Prof. Jan Krysiński, the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Ireneusz Zbiciński, and Tomasz Kozera, the school's headmaster since its foundation.

It is worth noting that the high school gathers exceptionally talented young people and persistently focuses on their intellectual and cultural development.
