Nanotechnology, the second-cycle programme offered by the Faculty of Chemistry, has been awarded the certificate of quality by the Accreditation Commission of Universities of Technology (KAUT) and the EUR-ACE European Accreditation of Engineering Programmes quality label, which will be valid for 5 years.

KAUT experts highly rated the attractive curriculum which ensures acquiring extensive knowledge in this modern and fast-developing branch of science. Our laboratories were also particularly appreciated as research facilities where students learn how to apply theory to practice, explains Professor Małgorzata Iwona Szynkowska-Jóźwik, the Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry.

The other strengths of Nanotechnology are the possibility of obtaining a double diploma (from Lodz University of Technology and the University of Twente) and the excellent qualifications of the teaching staff.

The prestigious Label is a confirmation of the high quality of education and meeting the standards adopted by European bodies related to engineering education.
