According to the organizers from the Career Office at TUL, 24 companies and institutions from various industries, differing in potential and scope of activities, entered the competition. The contest attracted a lot of students' interest and a fierce fight for the prestigious distinction of the best employer lasted until the last moment.
At the meeting in the Rector's Office, Ericsson was represented by Stefan Znarowski, Development Director, and Jakub Gabarkiewicz, Marketing Manager. Julia Chojnacka, president of the Student Government at TUL, was also present.
The competition, initiated last year by the Career Office, emphasizes the good cooperation between TUL and the business environment, including internships and work placements. These are extremely important elements of educating future engineers. It also broadens the awareness and level of knowledge of students of Lodz University of Technology about the labour market, especially about the companies operating in the region of Lodz.
