Over 1 500 places and two new majors are waiting for candidates for Master's studies at Lodz University of Technology. Admissions process begins on 31 January.

For the winter admissions process, Lodz University of Technology has prepared an attractive offer of education in 35 majors, including six taught in English. 1 535 places are available for candidates for full-time studies and 60 for part-time studies. To know the university, we invite you to take a virtual walk around the beautiful 35-hectare campus, located in the city centre. During the tour, you can take a look at some of the modern buildings and laboratories.

The offer of Master's studies includes several majors that are unique in Poland, which you can study at second-cycle studies in Polish and English only at Lodz University of Technology. These are: chemistry in forensic science; sustainable bioeconomy; automation and control of robots, textile science and environmental engineering in construction. You can also begin your education with majors in: Energy Systems in the Built Environment; Human-Computer Interaction, and Industrial Biotechnology. The University constantly adapts its educational offer to the needs of the environment. This year, TUL is launching two new majors: Production Engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering as well as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at the Faculty of Electrical, Electronic, Computer and Control Engineering," says Professor Andrzej Romanowski, Vice-Rector for Education.

Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning is a major offered only at Lodz University of Technology, at Master's level. It is an opportunity to gain competence and knowledge sufficient to independently create "intelligent" algorithms, systems of machines and devices. Students will learn how to create systems that can solve complex problems, support or replace humans in performing responsible tasks. They will gain knowledge of how to teach algorithms and how to make them learn on their own, how to solve tasks in the objectively best possible way. The curriculum is structured in a way that gives those willing the opportunity to go to a foreign university for a semester.

Production engineering is a novelty at TUL, which combines knowledge not only of manufacturing techniques and production organization, but also of law and economics. In numerous TUL laboratories and workshops, students learn about production processes, which are implemented in various fields of industry, using the latest educational methods based on national and international models.

Admissions process for second-cycle studies will end on 16 February (Wednesday) at 15.00. Interviews are scheduled for 18 February (Friday). On Tuesday, 22 February, at 14.00, the results of admissions process for second-cycle studies at Lodz University of Technology will be announced.
