La Société des Architectes Polonais en France, headquartered in Paris, has awarded its annual award  PRIX SARP FR 2023 for the most interesting 2022 engineering degree project addressing architectural issues. Announced a double winner of the competition was inż. Robert Machura, who holds a degree in Architecture awarded by Lodz University of Technology.

The 6th Stena Circular Economy Award (SCEA) competition grand finale was part of the ToGetAir 2023 Climate Summit, which took place just before the International Earth Day. The top prize in the Student category went to Marlena Idczak and Klementyna Folwarczyk - students pursuing a degree in Management and Production Engineering at the Faculty of Organization and Management. The winning proposal sets out to develop a product - a non-woven landscape fabric mulch, which will be produced from waste, i.e. used clothes, made from sheep wool.
