Rector of TUL is the president of Rectors of Lodz Universities

At the first remote meeting (15.10) of the Conference of Rectors of Public Universities in Lodz, the Rector of Lodz University of Technology - Prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik was unanimously elected president of the rectors' assembly for a new term.

After the election, the rector-president of of Conference of Rectors of Public Universities in Lodz said:

- I will be meeting with the rectors regularly, at least once a month. Our most important task is to cooperate so that Academic Lodz speaks in one voice. Of course, while maintaining our individuality, we want to be a group that will work for the benefit of joint activities and representation of our goals and tasks in the scientific community - in Poland and in the world - and in relation to the economic environment. The conference brings together universities of different sizes, but the voice of each rector is equally important to us. We want to take initiatives that will further strengthen the public universities in Lodz, as well as the Lodz Scientific Society and Lodz Branch of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

The meeting was also attended by the rectors who managed the universities for the previous four years.
