Evaluation of raster cylinder surface parameters enables to define the level of their normal wear and tear.

Measurement of the parameters of media dozing cylinders for printing and processing needs The proposal of the Institute of Papermaking and Printing includes analysis of raster cylinder surface parameters, based on the use of state-of-the-art instruments: a 3D Troika AniCam camera, Cellstore and PEAK (x60–
200) microscopes and a FlexoCam device.

The evaluation options include, among others, measurements of well depth, well opening area and analysis of: well volume calculation, raster ruling, raster angle, well opening, the width of well walls (thresholds),
the actual technical status of wells and their cleanliness. This service may be delivered to production businesses in the paper industry.
