Evaluation of quality and energy value of beet pulp and molasses as feed materials By-products of sugar production from beets, such as sugar beet pulp or molasses, may be used as feed raw materials for animals. The feed market of today requires high quality analytical services confirming the quality of feed stuffs.

The organoleptic and physico-chemical evaluation involves a number of quality parameters, including an analysis of the basic chemical composition, determination of heavy metal (Cd, Pb, Cu, Hg, Zn, As and Fe) contents, microbiological purity and the food energy value.
