A development of fibre-optic networks is necessary to meet the increasing demand for capacity of transmission bands – the number of opticalfibre networks has been growing at the rate of 150% a year.

Design, construction and characterisation of optical-fibre lines The offer of the Department of Semiconductor and Optoelectronic Devices encompasses a broad scope of works related to design and construction of optical-fibre lines and to transmission and reflectometric measurements.

This service may target organisations and enterprises involved in broadly understood telecommunication and data transfer, the products and services of which are based on optical-fibre lines.
