If you are a citizen of Ukraine, who was forced to leave Ukraine after 24 February 2022 and interrupt your studies at a higher education institution, you can apply to Lodz University of Technology for confirmation of your learning outcomes, and as a result of admission to study at our university you can count on:

• granting you student status,
• accommodation in Lodz University of Technology hall of residence,
• an opportunity to participate in an intensive Polish language course preparing you for studies in Polish,
• participation in courses and trainings that will help you adapt to studying at a Polish university,
• other forms of support that will be offered by external institutions through the university.

What should I bring with me?

• information about the date of crossing the Polish border (e.g. stamp in your passport),
• scans and/or copies of documents evidencing the completion of secondary school (if you are interested in pursuing first-cycle studies), completion of first-cycle studies (if you are interested in pursuing second-cycle studies), completion of second-cycle studies (if you are interested in pursuing doctoral studies)
• scans/copies of a list of subjects and grades from studies that were interrupted by the war,
• passport.

If you do not have all the documents, do not worry! Come to us.

At the university, we use a simplified procedure for the recognition of learning outcomes, so you have a chance to finish your studies with us. Come with what you have or your history and we will try to help you.

If you are a citizen of Ukraine who was forced to leave Ukraine after 24 February 2022 and interrupt your studies at a higher education institution and you have been admitted through the confirmation of learning outcomes to study at Lodz University of Technology, receiving student status, you will have the opportunity to accommodate yourself in one of Lodz University of

Technology's Student Halls of Residence. Details will be discussed with you as part of the admission process for you to study at our university.

If you are already a student of our university and your family members have come or will come to Poland and have nowhere to live, they should go to one of the three reception points

• at Lodz Fabryczna Railway Station - Bronislaw Salaciński Square 1,
• at Lodz Kaliska railway station - 227 Włókniarzy Avenue
• at the Lodz House of Culture - R. Traugutta 18.

After registering at the point, individuals will receive information on available accommodation. Points at the Lodz Fabryczna and Lodz Kaliska railway stations are open 8:00 - 20:00, and the point at the Lodz House of Culture is open 24 hours a day.

Ви громадянин України і хочете перейти на навчання в Лодзький Політехнічний університет? У зв'язку зі збройним конфліктом ми вже місяць приймаємо студентів українських вузів. Ось що потрібно зробити, щоб стати студентом Лодзької Політехніки.

Кандидати складають наступні документи:

1) Анкета, складена в оригінальному варіанті, з власноручним підписом;

2) Заява на вступ до університету, складена в оригінальному варіанті, з власноручним підписом;

3) Положення про обробку персональних даних кандидатів до ВНЗ усіх ступенів, складене в оригінальному варіанті, з власноручним підписом;

4) фото;

5) документ, що підтверджує легальний в'їзд на територію Республіки Польща в період з 24 лютого 2022 року (у вигляді ксерокопії відповідної сторінки паспорта з печаткою, підтвердження присвоєння номера PESEL тощо)

6) наявні документи, що засвідчують попередню закінчену освіту, такі як: свідоцтво про закінчення середної школи, диплом про вищу освіту бакалавра/ магістра, а також перелік оцінок тощо; (ці документи можуть бути надані пізніше)

7) наявні документи, що підтверджують навчання у вищому навчальному закладі в Україні, такі як рішення про вступ до вузу, підтвердження статусу студента, перелік зарахованих предметів або перелік оцінок; (ці документи можуть бути надані пізніше)

8) для кандидатів, які не досягли 18 років-згода батьків / законних опікунів на отримання неповнолітнім навчання в лодзькому політехнічному університеті (цей документ ви можете надати пізніше)

Правила кваліфікації для студентів з України:

1. Громадянин Польщі або громадянин України, який у зв'язку зі збройним конфліктом в Україні претендує на вступ до Лодзького Політехнічного Університету складає в пункті інформаційно-рекрутаційному всі необхідні документи. Інформаційно-рекрутаційний пункт розташований на першому поверсі будинку A-16 (IFE).

2. Рішення про вступ до вузу шляхом переведення з іноземного вузу приймає Продекан зі справ студентів відповідного напряму навчання на підставі поданих документів.

3. Після вступу на навчання в Лодзький Політехнічний університет, декан зі справ студентів приймає рішення про реєстрацію студента на перший рік навчання. Після 

завершення процесу підтвердження і визнання результатів навчання студент може бути переведений на вищий семестр навчання.

4. Після реєстрації на перший рік навчання студент може бути направлений у ‘відпустку’ від занять у вигляді короткострокової відпустки, не більше ніж до кінця літнього семестру навчального року 2021/2022.

Правила набору на навчання в Лодзькому Політехнічному Університеті, в рамках підтвердження ефектів навчання, польських громадян або громадян України, розроблено на підставі закону від 12 березня 2022 року. про допомогу громадянам України у зв'язку зі збройним конфліктом на території цієї держави, а також постанови № 12/2022 Сенату Лодзького Політехнічного Університету з 30 березня 2022 року.

Are you a citizen of Ukraine and do you want to study at Lodz University of Technology? Due to the armed conflict, we have been accepting Ukrainian students for a month now. Here's what you need to do to become a student of Lodz Technical University.

Candidates submit the following documents:

1) an application form, submitted in the original version, with a handwritten signature;

2) an application for admission to university, submitted in the original version, with your handwritten signature;

3) a clause concerning the processing of personal data of candidates for studies of all levels and participants of doctoral studies, submitted in the original version, with a handwritten signature;

4) a photograph;

5) a document confirming legal entry into the territory of the Republic of Poland in the period from 24 February 2022 (in the form of a photocopy of the relevant page of a passport with a stamp, confirmation of the assignment of a PESEL number, etc.)

6) documents confirming previous education, such as: a secondary school diploma, a diploma of completion of a Bachelor's/ Master's degree with a grade record, etc.; (these documents may be submitted later)

7) documents from your studies in higher education in Ukraine, such as your decision of admission, confirmation of your student status, transcript of courses completed to date and marks; (these documents can be submitted at a later stage)

8) in the case of candidates who are under 18 years of age - a consent of parents/legal guardians for a minor to take up studies at Lodz University of Technology. (this document can be submitted later)

Documents mentioned in points 6-8 are accepted in Polish, English, Ukrainian or Russian language version.

Rules of eligibility for students from Ukraine:

1. A Polish citizen or a citizen of Ukraine who applies for admission to study at Lodz University of Technology due to the armed conflict in Ukraine shall submit a set of required documents to Lodz University of Technology Information and Recruitment Point. The Information and Recruitment Point is located on the ground floor of the building A-16 (IFE).

2. The decision on admission to studies through a transfer from a foreign university is made by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs responsible for a given field of study on the basis of the submitted documents.

3. After the student has been admitted to Lodz University of Technology, the Vice Dean for Student Affairs takes a decision on the student's registration for the first year of studies. Upon completion of the process of confirmation and recognition of learning outcomes, the student may be transferred to a higher semester of study.

4. After registration for the first year of studies, the student may be referred to a leave of absence from classes in the form of a short-term leave of absence, not longer than until the end of the summer semester of the 2021/2022 academic year.

  Ми надаємо психологічну підтримку як польською, так і англійською мовами. • Центр сімейного обслуговування надає психологічну, терапевтичну та юридичну допомогу. Ця допомога буде надаватися в рамках сімейної амбулаторії в Centrum Służby Rodzinie (Radyniodówinna.org.pl), яка розташована в нашому корпусі А за адресою: вул. Broniewskiego 1a в Лодзі.

• Due to the situation in Ukraine, the HaKoach Association, as part of the project "Networking, educating, communicating - participation of Lodz minorities", has extended its activities by psychological support. Citizens of Ukraine, residing in Lodz, who are looking for help in the psychological field, can apply to the Association. A support group will be set up or individual meetings with psychotherapists will be available. Applications are accepted at telephone number 506 558 006 or email address hakoach.lodz@gmail.com.

• The team of the Local Committee for Children's Rights Protection in Łódź would like to provide psychological support to any person who has difficulties coping with the current situation in Ukraine and to refugees who come to our city. Meetings can be held stationary, as well as online, in the form of audio-video conversation. We provide psychological support both in Polish and English. A psychologist who speaks English is available at 506 803 673 on Mondays between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m., Fridays between 2:00 and 5:00 p.m., the first and third Saturday of the month between 11:30 and 3:00 p.m. You can also contact us by e-mail. We also provide legal aid, but only in Polish. Please make an appointment in advance by phone or e-mail.

• The Family Service Centre offers psychological, therapeutic and legal assistance. This help will be provided within the Family Counselling Centre at the Family Service Centre (poradniarodzinna.org.pl), which is located in our building A at Broniewskiego 1a Street in Łódź, tel. +42 682 20 22, +48 607 131 131, e-mail: recepcja@csr.org.pl We are still working on the issue of extending our collaborators, which will allow us to expand our activities, especially in the context of Ukrainian language.
