Salony Maturzystów Perspektywy are the largest education fairs, which for 17 years have enjoyed unflagging interest from the to-be high-school graduates, their parents and teachers. An average of 3,000 to 5,000 high school students attend Salony in each of the cities participating in the fairs, with exhibitors including all the leading academic institutions. This year's Salony Maturzystów for the first time featured a stand of Academic Łódź, where representatives of the three leading public universities in Łódź were available to answer any questions: Medical University of Łódź, University of Lodz, and Lodz University of Technology. Also present were the staff of the City Hall.

‘Łódź stands as the historic capital of the Polish textile industry. Meanwhile, industry means Lodz University of Technology that for nearly 80 years has been contributing to building the image of one of Poland's fastest beautifying cities. This is where students can choose from more than 60 degree programs and earn double degrees owing to the university's cooperation with international universities, as well as advance their learning in student research groups, developing new technologies and vehicles of the future. As the only Polish university, we are in the elite ECIU network, which opens up to our students the opportunity to pursue customized international education. We invite all enthusiasts of technical sciences to invest in their future with Lodz University of Technology!’, said Professor Krzysztof Jóźwik, Rector of TUL, during a press briefing announcing the collaborative exhibition stand plans.

Academic Łódź stall stood out against the background of traditional exhibition structures. Its design was reminiscent of the landmark public transport interchange hub that goes by the nickname of the Stable of the Unicorns. White pillars with ornaments covered with a roof reflecting rainbow colored light caught the attention of curious students, teachers and parents, who stopped readily to find out more about what Łódź had to offer. Long queues also lined up for the multimedia quiz about the universities of Łódź, featuring an interactive unicorn. Participants could win gadgets related to the symbols of the city.

It was impossible to pass by the Academic Łódź exhibition stand indifferently. Modern architecture, interactive technologies, and a large dose of information about the universities and the city. As Lodz University of Technology, apart from showcasing the fields of study, we also tried to inspire gave inspiration to the soon-to-be high-school graduates with experiments and engaging projects explained by our students. High schoolers were given the opportunity to see for themselves that Łódź is a special place to study and live in.

During the Salony, in no short supply was valuable information for those getting ready for their school-leaving examinations. With a view to the September election of examination subjects, the fairs organizers had arranged meetings with experts from the District Examination Board, with outstanding teachers-practitioners, with academics and admissions officers and students, as well as with job market experts.

Salony Maturzystów were held in 14 cities in Poland. Academic Łódź's exhibition stand was featured in Lublin, Wrocław, Warsaw, Łódź, and Poznań.
