  5. presented and defended the doctoral dissertation [art. 186 PSWiN].

- at least 2 scientific papers published in a scientific journal from a ministerial list.


Distinction of a doctorate in the discipline of Chemical Sciences (CS). Conditions:

  1. obtaining a very good grade from the doctoral examination in basic discipline and at least the good grades of each of the other exams;
  2. positive evaluation of three reviewers and a motion for distinction submitted by two reviewers in reviews, approved by the third reviewer after defense (the rules for awarding doctoral theses within the School of Chemical Sciences will be attached to the Dean's letter to reviewers);
  3. publication or documented admission to print of at least three works in JCR-list journals concerning the research which is the subject of the trial, at what in at least one of them the candidate should be the first author of or the author of the correspondence. In special cases such as the occurrence of circumstances making it impossible to publish the results of work, required publications may be replaced by patents, patent applications or documentation confirming the exceptional application significance of the trial. In that case the candidate should be the first author of at least one patent or application patent; 
  4. the support of the Examination Commission must be expressed at least by the count of ¾ of the votes of the members of the Commission present at the meeting in a secret ballot;
  5. a doctoral dissertation should be submitted within at the latest five years from the beginning of doctoral studies.
