The methods, developed by a team at the Institute, allow for laboratory-run conditions of changes in the properties of materials and products in time – by simulation of ageing, degradation and use.

Studies and tests of simulated material ageing Specialist equipment enables evaluation of the effects of photooxidation, climatic and solar ageing, ozone and thermal ageing, as well as of composting on the durability of products and materials – including polymer, composite and WPC products, elements of home appliances, radio and television equipment and textile products.

This particular service is dedicated to enterprises from the automotive, building, packaging and agricultural industries.
