Each year, international students spend one or two semesters at Lodz University of Technology. These days, a majority are French and Turkish. For the first time, as many as 24 students from Italy arrived and, having exceeded the number of Spaniards, are the third largest national group of those represented at TUL.
In 2018/19 at TUL, over 900 foreigners studied at TUL. A total of 468 international students enrolled for both semesters. Apart from this group, over 450 foreign students pursue full degree programmes at TUL.
Thanks to the cooperation with universities not participating in Erasmus+, Lodz University of Technology has been attracting more and more students from non-European Union countries. This year, for the first time ever, the University welcomed a group of students from India (14 persons). Increasingly interested in studying at TUL are young people from Kazakhstan, Brazil, and the United States of America.
