Natalia Jabrzyk, a student of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Environmental Engineering (BAIŚ) of Lodz University of Technology, won the gold medal in the women's team cross-country skiing at the World Academic Championships in Lake Placid (USA).
By the decision of the President of the Republic of Poland of 16 February, Małgorzata Matusiak of the TUL’s Faculty of Material Technologies and Textile Design was awarded the title of professor of engineering sciences in the discipline of material engineering.

An example is Beata Rurarz, the president of the Choir, who does her doctorate with flying colours, because without music she cannot even imagine counting. Ludwig van Beethoven said: “It doesn't matter if you play a wrong note. Playing without passion is unforgivable! ”. Fortunately, our choristers do not lack passion!
