TUL rises in the university rankings compiled by Perspektywy

Lodz University of Technology was ranked 4th among technical universities and 8th among all academic institutions (in both rankings ex aequo with Gdansk University of Technology). On Friday (July 17), an announcement of the results of the 21st ranking of universities was held, organized by the Educational Foundation Perspektywy.

The Rankings of Academic Schools includes higher education institutions (public and non-public) holding at least one authorization to award the degree of doktor, and having at least 200 enrolled full-time students. The evaluation involves the following criteria: prestige (12%), graduates on the job market (12%), innovation (8%), research capacity (15%), research effectiveness (28%), educational conditions (10%), internationalization (15%).

In this year's ranking of technical universities Warsaw University of Technology came out best, 2nd place was taken by AGH University of Science and Technology followed by Wroclaw University of Technology in 3rd place. In the general classification of universities, the Jagiellonian University in Cracow took 1st place, the University of Warsaw took 2nd place, whereas Warsaw University of Technology came 3rd. In the 2019 ranking, Lodz Technical University of Lodz was ranked 5th among technical universities and 8th among academic schools (ex aequo with the University of Wroclaw and Gdansk Medical University).
