This year, once again, in the Ranking of Secondary Schools organized by the Perspektywy Educational Foundation, the Public Secondary School of Lodz University of Technology (PLO PŁ) took the top position in the Łódzkie Voivodeship.

Mikołaj Kopernik High School No. 1 was ranked second, whereas the Righteous Among the Nations Public High School of the University of Lodz was ranked third. 74 high schools were rated in the regional ranking.

In the general nationwide ranking, PLO PŁ maintained the 18th position. In the Matura* Ranking of Secondary Schools 2020, PLO PŁ holds the 19th place.

The criteria of the Ranking of Secondary Schools are as follows: successful participation in national and international academic competitions (25%), results of the Matura exam in mandatory subjects (30%), and results of the Matura exam in other subjects (45%). Accordingly, scores from the Matura exam are the most important criteria in the assessment of schools.
