The Ministry of Science and Higher Education has published a 2018/19 university admissions report. The data show that technical universities - among which Lodz University of Technology has saved its 4th place - continue to enjoy the greatest popularity.

Based on the Ministry report, below is a listing of the universities most frequently selected by candidates for first-cycle full-time and integrated long-cycle programmes (the ranking was compiled according to the number of applications per place - four and more applications per place):

1. Gdańsk University of Technology 8.8
2. Warsaw University of Technology 7.2
3. Poznań University of Technology 6.9
4. Wrocław University of Economics 6.0
5. Lodz University of Technology 5.7
6. University of Warsaw 5.0

According to the Ministry data, the following are the most popular degree programmes:

1. Computer Science/Information Technology
2. Management
3. Psychology
4. Ekonomics
5. Law
6. Finance and Accounting
7. Automatic Control and Robotics
8. Civil Engineering
9. Pedagogy/Education
10. Logistics
11. Mechanical Engineering
12. Medicine
13. Management and Production Engineering

As many as seven of the fields of study listed in the Mistry report are provided at Lodz University of Technology.
