Lodz University of Technology has one of the most advanced library and information systems among Polish higher education institutions. TUL's library offers printed and digital resources. TUL's library provides services in the following three areas: collecting and providing access to printed literature, subscribing and providing access to journals and electronic databases, operating a digital library and an electronic repository of the university's staff publications, operating the university's publishing house.

The Library provides access to full text resources based on licensing agreements that allow the library users to access:

about 267 thousand digital books,
over 19 thousand journals.

The University's staff has access to renowned databases such as Elsevier, Springer, Wiley journals; abstract and citation databases Scopus, Web of Science, EBSCO; Springer digital books; analytical tools (Elsevier), InCites (Clarivate).

Altogether, the library users have access to 33 international and 28 national open access sources. The Library provides access to 33 electronic sources based on licensing agreements.

The Library catalogue is provided through one of the most advanced integrated library systems, Horizon, and can be accessed through a search bar on the library's website.
