Technical universities are the forge of chief executives

As the results of a survey study carried out by the Rzeczpospolita journal have shown yet again, most of the biggest companies in Poland are managed by engineers.

The survey ranked Lodz University of Technology 11th out of 25 universities. The infographic presented by the journal showed that 3.21% of the surveyed chief executives were Lodz University of Technology graduates. With the score of 6.6% of chief executives - engineers, Warsaw University of Technology and Warsaw School of Economics ranked the highest.

Only three universities were ranked in the top eleven of the higher education institutions with the greatest percentage of graduates who went on to become chief executives. They were the University of Warsaw (6.24), Kraków University of Economics (3.92) and Poznań University of Economics and Business (3.39).
