The Technical University of Lodz (TUL) was established in 1945, initially with 3 faculties of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Chemistry. Over the years new ones have been established, up to the present number of 9 faculties, 70 institutes and departments, and 120 specializations. In 1992 the International Faculty of Engineering with programs offered exclusively in English or French was set up. TUL offers a possibility of obtaining Bachelor of Art, Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and Doctorate of Philosophy degrees. 罗兹工业大学建立于1945 年，建校伊始，由机械工程、电气工程和化学三个学院组成。 如今，我校陆续扩建专业，现在已经拥有9 个学院，70 个系，开设了120 个专业。 1992 年，国际工程学院开设了以全英语和法语授课的相关专业。罗兹工业大学提供荣 获文学学士、理学学士、理学硕士及博士学位的教育。
The Technical University of Lodz is one of the founder institutions and an active member of the Boym Universities Consortium, an organization set up to promote Polish‐Chinese academic cooperation (www.boym.org). So far, bilateral agreements were signed with the following universities in China: Minzu University of China, Anshan Normal University, Cangzhou Vocational College of Technology. 罗兹工业大学是联手创办卜弥格大学联盟的高校之一，也是相当活跃的成员。卜弥格 大学联盟(www.boym.org)是一个促进中波学术合作的机构。罗兹工业大学已经与中国 以下高校签订了一系列双边协议：中央民族大学, 鞍山师范学院, 沧州职业技术学院。
There are 20 000 students and approximately 3 000 staff members at the University. In 2002 a large, fully computerized library was opened. Within the TUL campus there are dormitories, canteens, a cinema, sports training facilities, radio station “Radio Zak” ‐ broadcasting throughout the region and managed exclusively by students, as well as some modern art galleries. Within the campus area there are student clubs, gyms, sports fields, a travel agency, a post office, and a number of cafés and bank branches. Apart from the Student Self‐government body plenty of other student organizations operate here as well. Undoubtedly, each student can find activities that will support his or her development, education and entertainment. 目前有在校学生20000 人，教职工大约3000 人。2002 年，我校规模宏大、全面数字 化的书馆已面向全校师生开放，此外还有学生宿舍、食堂、电影院、体育运动队、现 代美术馆、广播站“侠客广播”（Radio Zak）等。“侠客广播”（Radio Zak）的调频覆盖整 个罗兹市，而且专门由学生管理。校园内实施齐备：学生俱乐部、体育馆、体育场地、 旅行社、邮局、咖啡厅、各银行分行等一应俱全。除了学生会之外，其他学生社团也应有尽有。毫无疑问，这里丰富多彩的社团生活，能满足每个学生发展、受教育和娱 乐的不同需要。
