PhD  international students:

TUL does not offer PhD studies in foreign languages.

Foreign students wishing to undertake PhD studies at TUL on individual basis (in a foreign language, not within regular studies) should:

•  submit Master diploma or its equivalent translated into Polish or English by a sworn translator. The authenticity of the diploma should be attested by the university delivering the diploma or by the proper diplomatic unit. The diploma should be recognized in Poland.
• find a proper scientific promoter at TUL (directly or via TUL’s International Relations Office)
• possess a very good level of English (or French, or German)

There are 3 possibilities of financing a PhD scheme at TUL:

•  Polish Government scholarship (via diplomatic units)
• scholarship from mother country institutions (government, university, company)
• private resources

 The cost of PhD studies is at minimum 3000 EUR per year (final decision is taken by the Faculty Dean) and 200 EUR registration fee.
