Dear colleagues!
Kharkiv National University of Economics (KhNEU), Ukraine, (AUF member: http://www.auf.org/membres/?pays=55®ion=6&statut=&nom=), will be organizing IV International scientific and practical conference "Problems and prospects of IT industry development" to be held on 15-16 November, 2012.
Traditionally, the conference will have interdisciplinary character.
Conference main topics will include:
• Business Informatics
• Information Systems management
• Information technology in the development of environment and sustainable development
• Intelligence and Security Informatics
• Statistics
• e-Government
• e-Learning and Distance Learning
• Grid computing and clustering
• Data mining
• Intelligent systems for decision support
• Knowledge based systems
Conference Working languages:
English, French, Ukrainian.
Call for papers
Abstracts and articles must be submitted in English or in French. The publication is free of charge for researchers invited from the universities members of l’AUF. Completed papers must be submitted by e-mail to the Organizing committee (address) by 15 October 2012. Scientific materials will be posted on the conference website in English, French and Ukrainian languages and published in KhNEU scientific journal.

Summer!!! School? Yeah, the Summer School AACIMP is looking for you!!!
Summer School AACIMP (http://summerschool.ssa.org.ua/) is an absolutely unique project which has been launched by the student organization Student Science Association of the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” (NTUU “KPI”) since 2006. This year 3-16 August will be the best time for the AACIMP summer-schoolers – during these two weeks they will meet and make the most of their studies in the NTUU “KPI” in Kyiv, the beautiful capital of Ukraine.

Distant course of Russian language for foreign citizens.

Kharkiv National Aerospace University KHAI implements 4 months distant course of the Russian language for foreign
citizens. Training on this course will give interns a basic
knowledge of the Russian language and help them to adapt for the life
and training in Ukraine. Course will be realized through the
Internet (100% distant and on-line), with the help of Skype, and there
is no necessity to be present in Ukraine.

PhD opening in theoretical chemistry and physics

Applications are invited for a PhD position in the group of Dr.
Katarzyna Pernal in the Institute of Physics, Technical University
of Lodz, Poland. The position is linked to a project “Accurate
description of intermolecular interaction energies from extended
random phase approximation” operated within the Foundation for Polish
Science "Pomost Programme" co-financed by the European Regional
Development Fund. The project will be conducted in collaboration with
Laboratoire de Chimie Théorique, Université Pierre et Marie Curie,
Paris.
