A ceremony of awarding the honorary doctorate to Professor Andrzej Ajdukiewicz has taken place at the Technical University of Lodz. Professor Ajdukiewicz graduated the Faculty of General and Industrial Construction at the Silesian University of Technology. Also, since that time, he has been working there as a lecturer. In the period 1991-1996 he
worked, parallel with his post in Gliwice, as Head of the Concrete
Structures Department at the Technical University of Lodz.
