Dr inż. Paulina Gątarek of the Faculty of Chemistry at Lodz University of Technology has been honored by the Committee on Analytical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences, which granted her the award for the best doctoral dissertation in analytical chemistry.
On April 10, the results of the latest edition of the prestigious QS by subject ranking were released. This high-profile, internationally recognized ranking ranks universities within certain subjects of scholarship, providing students and researchers with useful insights. To be included in it is quite a distinction – one that Lodz University of Technology has earned for the second time, this time being classified in four subject areas.

Researchers of the Zakład Zarządzania Łańcuchem Dostaw [Division of Supply Chain Management] have won a CEEPUS grant for the international cooperation network 'Supply chains management - from the perspective of national industries.' This is the first time the Faculty of Organization and Management of Lodz University of Technology has coordinated this type of a cooperation network.

For the third time, the Rectors of Lodz University of Technology and the Medical University of Lodz awarded a joint award for the best research publication. The awarded paper, 'Lipid Profile in Children Born Small for Gestational Age', was published in Nutrients, an international peer-reviewed open access journal indexed in Scopus , Web of Science, and other databases.
41 laureates of the 14th LIDER scheme have been announced at a gala ceremony in Warsaw, among them dr inż. Zbigniew Tyfa, a researcher at the TUL's Institute of Turbomachinery. He was awarded 1.8 million złoty for Matematyczne wspomaganie przewidywania skutków leczenia tętniaków wewnątrzczaszkowych [Mathematical modelling to predict the outcome of intracranial aneurysm treatment] - a project of which he is the author.

Only one candidate has been proposed nominated by the university community for the office of Rector of Lodz University of Technology in the 2024-2028 term. Professor Krzysztof Jóźwik, who has held the office since September 1, 2020, will seek re-election.
Dr hab. inż. Joanna Pietrasik and dr hab. Radosław Podsiadły have been awarded the title of professor of exact and natural sciences in the discipline of Chemical Sciences. Both researchers work at the Institute of Polymers and Dyes at the Faculty of Chemistry.
The decision on conferring the title on the TUL scientists was made by Andrzej Duda, President of the Republic of Poland, on February 29.
Dr. Eng. Marcin Cichy from the Faculty of Organization and Management of the Lodz University of Technology received the first prize in the 15th competition of the Committee of Organization and Management Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences for the best scientific work 2021-2022, in the doctoral theses category.
