International Faculty of Engineering (IFE), founded in 1992, is the unit where all the courses are taught in English and French. Currently there are over 1000 students.

All the study programs include the basic subjects such as: mathematics, physics, informatics and the technical subjects specific for a given degree program.

The last semester of studies is divided into specializations. Each student chooses the specialization and the so called elective courses. The diploma thesis is also prepared.

Different courses are organized in different ways. Traditional courses are based on lectures, tutorials, laboratories, seminars. The problem-based approach is used.

Having fulfilled all the requirements for a given degree program (having passed  all the exams) and after the defense of the diploma thesis  student can be awarded the following degrees: inżynier, licencjat, magister.
