Professor Ireneusz Zbiciński, who has already twice held the office of a vice-rector, was elected vice-rector for science. Professor Zbiciński is currently the dean of the Faculty of Process and Environmental Engineering; in the 2005-2008 term he served as the vice-rector for student affairs, whereas in the term 2008-2012 as the vice-rector for science. He specializes in chemical engineering and environmental engineering and protection.
The office of the vice-rector for development will be held by professor Dariusz Gawin. Professor Gawin has been the dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Environmental Engineering since 2008. He specializes in building physics and computer modelling of porous media mechanics.
The office of the vice-rector for education affairs will be held by professor Grzegorz Bąk. Professor Bąk has been the dean of the Faculty of Technical Physics, Information Technology and Applied Mathematics since 2008. His research is focused on condensed matter thin-film systems.
The office of the vice-rector for student affairs will be held by Witold Pawłowski, PhD, DSc, who, since 2008, has been the vice-dean for part-time and doctoral degree programs of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. His primary research interests are machine design, operation and maintenance engineering.
