Lodz University of Technology Public High School was founded in 2007 and for the following eight years had its seat on two floors of the Lodz University of Technology Institute of Architecture. Three years ago, the middle school welcomed its first students and the two schools were organized into Lodz University of Technology School Cluster.

In 2014, the building at Różyckiego 5 that had housed the Center of Lifelong Learning was purchased by Lodz University of Technology from the City of Lodz. Renovation works took nearly one year and cost 4.5 million zloty. Part of the cost was covered with a loan from the Regional Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Łódź.

Currently, 360 students enjoy 5 storeys of a thoroughly renovated, fenced in facility fitted out with modern furnishings and equipment. We have 24 classrooms, a chemical laboratory, state-of-the-art audio video room as well as a climbing wall of the Academic Alpine Club that the school cooperates with - Mr. Tomasz Kozera, Principal of the TUL School Cluster was happy to report.

The School is located on a large plot, part of which was used to build a modern sports playing field open not only to the School's students but also to the neighbouring community. Lodz University of Technology plans to build a sports hall and an assembly hall. The remaining area will be landscaped, once all construction work has been completed.
